There's no fixed requirement, but an hour or two per week adds a great deal of experience that you haven't had access to through training alone. We recommend tackling one challenge or scenario at a time and splitting your training time across a few shorter sessions rather than one long sitting.
That pace is enough to move through the Foundational Challenges and into your first full Scenario within the first couple of weeks.
Frequently asked questions
Is more hours always better? Not necessarily — rushing through Scenarios without properly understanding the work tends to build less than a slower pace where you go away, consider it, and come back to the next challenge or scenario ready to build further. What if I only have an hour a week? That's still enough to make steady progress through Challenge Mode tasks one at a time; it'll just take longer to reach the more advanced Scenarios.

Block out two or three short sessions this week rather than one long one, and see how that pace feels before adjusting.
